- 85 nights maximum (because of 85-night promo earning period)
- Only stays made after registration count

The promotion earning period is for eligible paid nights completed between February 8, 2022, and May 4, 2022, at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties. I think the Marriott website has been having issues today. Just 401 error when I tried going to the home page and was having issues looking up stays and it populating the number of points needed.

Didn't receive any email regarding this promo but I got email for Escape (so it is not email issue). Found this promo on Twitter and tried to register via the link provided by several people.

I was not seeing any promotions like I have for the last year plus but I click news & program and changed to points a poof the promotion showed up. Wish I knew this last year, missed out on one of the promotions. Also is it one extra night per stay or for every paid night. example is a 2 night reservation 3 eqn or 4 eqn.

or

Should be the first one. The highlighted phase addresses the situation where someone registers for the promo after completing a stay. You can’t retroactively earn points/nights.

I'm sad it's only on paid stays. I have an award stay planned in April and was excited until I read the fine print. No paid stays planned until after the promotion ends. Pfft... oh well.

Is this stackable? As I asked in the other thread that warned this promo was coming, can it be used on top of the double points being earned through Feb 28 (or March 31 for some people)? Hopefully yes. But at the same time, it's no wonder Marriott is moving fully to the dynamic award pricing. They are literally giving away points like candy. I'll almost definitely stay 75+ of the 85 nights in a hotel during this promo period. So I'll be earning double points on all my stays, plus 75K bonus points. "It's good to be..." I guess.

Well, to me, this is a great promotion.
If anyone remembers, and who could forget, all the noise around the edges during the last promotion when there was confusion over which types of stays qualified (paid, redemptions etc.) I think it makes sense for this to be clearly defined as applying to paid stays only which is exactly the behaviour that the hotels want. Of course it would be nice if redemptions also counted but it's perfectly understandable rationally why they don't. Now we're caught between wanting to burn all our points before the upcoming devaluation and wanting to get double nights. Well played, Bonvoy.
Double nights for each qualifying night will drive bookings earlier in the year and make up for the last year's bonus night dump. My 10th Platinum year for Lifetime is now in the bag. 1000 bonus points a night will more than double the points I get a night from most of my stays at around USD60 a night in Thailand. Win win.
