Bacon in the rotation (with turkey Canadian bacon and several types of sausage and/or sausage patties) was part of the RI preCOVID-19 brand standard, but even then some RIs ignored this and offered nothing but sausage.
Interesting and thanks all for the info - so RI is consistently inconsistent. We're at a Staybridge Suite in Rhode Island last month & they offered sausage patties on 2 consecutive mornings, pre-made with the egg/muffin, wrapped & labeled. No waffles at all. But, wasn't bad overall speaking with 24 hours coffee service in the lobby. It was followed by a RI stay in the Boston area and they had virtually nothing, not even sausage patties that look appetizing - lobby's coffee & hot water discontinued after 9 am (brew your own in the suite ...) - apparently in line with their Covid protocol for properties in the state of MA ?? Off-topics: hand sanitizers were strategically placed in many areas, which looks good & reassuring - reminding us of cruise ship protocol, especially during a suspected/confirmed norovirus outbreak onboard.

Since this is a rare waffle-focused thread, let us not drift into a generic off-topic discussion of Bonv°y limited service breakfasts. 🙂
