Status downgrade from titanium to gold/silver possible?
For exmaple: After 15 nights/year would there be a downgrade from titanium to silver? Or does Bonvoy offer in theses cases a soft fall to platinum?

I don’t believe soft landings are policy; I wouldn’t expect it. You should expect status based on what you earned based on activity for that period.

Although anteater is correct, it never hurts to ask! You could always write a nice letter to customer service, say how much you've enjoyed your Platinum status, and say how much you're looking forward to staying at Marriott again after Covid passes. You never know, especially this year with the business travel downturn...you might just get a "complimentary one time extension" of your status!

If you were Titanium in 2019 or 2020 you would have received 38 nights credit earlier in the year. Get the credit card and you should be good for Platinum at least in 22, regardless.

If you get 2 credit cards (personal+biz), it would be pretty hard not to requalify for Titanium. That’s 68 automatic EQNs and 73 if you pick the EQN choice benefit. I think everyone on this forum has at least 2 nights of hotel stays planned for 2021.
