Great news. Looks like a decent option for Marriott in Jackson. Hope to see a stay report soon.

Bummer. Were your room rates anywhere close to what is now showing for this property (or hopefully a lot less)?

Rates are a bit crazy. I got a very good rate over NYE, just after they opened bookings a couple of months back, so hopefully the trip works out. The amenity fee seems pretty steep in both winter and summer: will be interesting to see what's included.

I booked on points, iirc, those room rates were similar to what i saw - hence the points booking

In the area now - great location, short trip to JHMR.

Too bad Marriott elites will continue to pay through the nose w/resort fees and parking, $78/day (plus taxes)? Yikes.

Just so no one gets the wrong idea, it is at least a 20 minute drive from the Cloudveil to the ski hill, likely more in the winter and with any traffic. We haven't experienced a shoulder season in JH this year and traffic is currently at peak season levels (this after a ski season that included unusually high traffic on the road to the ski resort).

I made a points booking for Mid-July a few months ago (70K pts/night). I applied an SNA although I highly doubt it will clear.

Will add a short review after the stay but agree this is a nice option for Jackson.

I would probably stay at the Springhill Suite in about the same area. Both are in downtown Jackson. Springhill room is larger, free breakfast and no resort fees. It is ridiculous to charge parking in that area. Springhill Suite is category 6. One level lower.
