Wrong number of points issued
My wife and I each recently had a stay and got the wrong number of points (like 551 instead of 4475). A DM to the Bonvoy twitter sorted it out, but it seems weird to be wrong 2 out of 2 times and not like a 0 was missing, Anybody else notice this lately?

I too noticed a pattern where I'm consistently getting the wrong points. I first noticed after my recent trip in March - the number of points I got was 1/10th of what I expected and I'm also still waiting on the credit for the nights I stayed. Once I started digging into my history, I realized that my stays from October and November last year are also egregiously off - I'm getting approximately 1 (not 10) base point per dollar spent on a qualifying stay (and these are all legitimate stays booked through Marriott's websites at hotels that are not subject to lower point conversions). The application of my platinum bonus has also been inconsistent. Overall, I think the differential is about 90K in points when including the platinum bonus. I submitted a request online but there's no email confirmation that my request even went through and I have no idea when this will be fixed. Any suggestions?

Same experience. Never get the right number of points. Not sure what’s up with that. Sent a message on the web form but no acknowledgement it went through

Turns out somehow my earnings setting was toggled to miles rather than points so instead of getting 15 points per dollar I was getting one united mile 😤 at least I caught it now but so many points lost 😭
So don't be like me, make sure your selection is right. |

Recently did a 2 week trip bouncing around a bunch of hotels. The last one posted points at half the normal rate (it's a Fairfield Inn). Checking Marriott.com, Marriott didn't suddenly lower Fairfield's to the 5x earnings instead of 10x earnings. So of course the bonus points is half of what it should be as well. Easiest way to get this resolved? It's not too many points as it was only a single night but heads up that there seem to be posting issues and/or Marriott is about to put Fairfield in the timeout corner. -RM |

I started auditing my points postings by uploading my folios to ChatGPT and having it calculate it. I get an incorrect number of points (usually less) at least 25% if the time. Because I’m ambassador I just email my ambassador and she fixes it.

Marriott gave me wrong number of points almost every time I spent a lot for my stay. I am tired of it. Avoid my revenue stay with it and only do award stay.
