Hotel was sold out (atleast all suites were sold out on Marriott.com). we were not expecting to be uograded, but we're upgraded to suite. Food is delicious and elite recognition is great. I forgot to specify the suite I wanted as I normally do so not sure if I could have gotten the 1 bedroom suite with a terrace. Edit: Very happy I didn't get something so close to the pool as atm there are some kids. I don't spend much time in hotels beside sleep so this worked out well. |

Chatted prior to check in via the app asking for a "Premier Suite," the highest level bookable per the website, and the agent stated they were full. Hotel was fine, rooms are definitely older, low ceilings, and the tongs for the ice bucket were dirty. Dirty, as in, what appeared to be dried cheese sauce on the ends of the tongs. I did not notice it until walking out for check out, and luckily we didn't use them, but it did not reflect well on the hotel. Restaurant has great breakfast. Valet parking is reasonable at $16/day. |

This was a welcome upgrade as we are traveling with friends on this trip and they were starting to complain about the sofa beds. :cool: Welcome Amenity is only 1,000 Points at this time due to covid and this resort is PERFECT for Ski In/Ski Out. |

SNA could only be applied to the Marvelous Suite. The rest of the higher category suites are not eligible for upgrades no matter your Marriott status. Marvelous Suite was available all the way up to 1 day before my arrival and it miraculously disappeared from the inventory on the day of arrival. Emailed Ambassador services 1 week before arrival, no help at all, just a template email to shut my mouth. 4pm late checkout is also not guaranteed - Have to beg the front desk to give me 4pm late checkout. Spectacular room type is the BEST room type among the non-suite room types because it is facing the harbour. Only 10 of such rooms in the property. So, they kicked me out at 12pm on my day of checkout and reassigned me to the Wonderful room to allow me to checkout at 4pm. |
I believe W Sentosa is considered resort property. That's why no 4pm late check out guarantee.
