Yes - Marriott's website since I've been a member since 200X, the email says 201X and my app shows 9 years as Platinum and above, so...

I've also stayed in at least 18 brands, yet it tells me I've stayed in 17.

Marriott's held-together-by-scotch-tape IT at play again!

AMB and LT Plat here. Didn't get the email...and given the amount of Marriott (non)promotions emails I get, I know they have it. :-)

Actually, based on the title of the thread, I was really hoping Marriott had finally gotten around to announcing what they were doing for status in 2021 - given Hyatt and Hilton announced weeks ago...

My hunch is Marriott does not lower status requirements for 2021. Could be wrong.

Certainly possible, but travel is still going to be significantly down for a few months at a minimum in 2021, so with what Hyatt and Hilton have put out, I'd be surprised if Marriott offers nothing towards status.

Judging that Accor recently halving their elite requirements for 2021 (and adding Jul - Dec 2020 nights and status point) I believe the industry pretty much predict 2021 demand is still weak.

As usual Marriott will be the last to announce these type of changes

Marriott usually seem to wait for their competitors to make a move and then act after evaluating the impact. Or perhaps they are just slow to act!

Me too. Lifetime Titanium. Points redeemed shown for 16 years. Nights just this years: 72. Actually 75, but they are useless at getting points allocated from October. I should have 1395 nights over 16 years.

Nothing received, but Marriott tends to send these things in batches, so won't be surprised if it shows up over the next couple of days.

Considering that Marriott has not only watered down status to Hilton-like levels, but has also suspended elite benefit guarantees, I don't know why they wouldn't extend status another year.

Haven't even gotten the email.

In any case they should have better thrown in some sweetener like announcing their next move in terms of status or promotion. Otherwise why bother with a random marketing email?

No email here either, but now I'm interested to see how my 1,750+ nights as LTTE gets reduced to 30.

I swear, these guys have their butthats on. The silliness never ends.

I didn't get it either. I only hear from Marriott when they're trying to sell me offers above normal rates for hotels I have no interest in going to.

Or timeshare presentations..

I feel Marriott only cares about my money and not my time, even as an AE guest.
