How quickly do 15 elite nights post?
 

I'm thinking of applying for an Amex Bonvoy Business Card to get the 15 elite nights that would put me over 50 for 2020, but am worried whether the elite nights will actually post in 2020 if I apply now. The T&C's says the nights post within 60 days, but my experience is that things often occur more quickly than those conditions say. Does anyone have any experience as to whether the 15 nights that come with opening the new account would post by the end of this year so that I can use them to reach the 50-night level for SNA awards, or whether there is any other way to get Marriott to credit them to my 2020 elite nights total if I open the card in 2020?

It might post quickly, if you look at the other threads of the same question several people report receiving the credit within a few days.

The risk is it won’t post until 2021, and the impact to your credit score for opening a new line of revolving credit.

Usually it posts very fast like within a week.
