Same here. I'd love to know the algorithms Marriott uses for these types of offers (and, yes, I know they'll never release publicly), as I've only received one targeted offer since the merger with SPG and I've been at least Titanium and I'm currently Ambassador and LTP. Maybe they don't feel I need anything since I stay so much without offers! :D

Stay 1 get 1 is pretty awesome for those who do get it! Heck do a mattress run for well under $100 at a Fairfield/Courtyard and use the free night somewhere much more expensive!

I used to get SPG promotions like this all the time.... Have never gotten one from Marriott...

I am Gold some years, Platinum others. Marriott must decide I am not worth targeting.

I didn't get that either.

As for algorithms used by Marriott to decide whether a member is targeted or not : Add all the member's membership number then multiply the number with any random number. If the result is even number, then roll the dice to get more even random chance :D

Not targeted either...I'm slowly starting to feel more welcome at Accor as a basic Gold member...Marriott....you are not getting my nights in January...after over 17 nights in November and December and got only 5,000 total bonus points...

But some got this instead, which IMHO is a candidate for mattress run if you know exactly what/where you want to redeem at the expensive properties and can find somewhere really cheap.

If you have AmEx Bonvoy Brilliant, check out their offers regularly too, I took advantage of "Spend $1000 and get 10K Points" last month.

I got the two night offer. It came via email earlier this month.

Of course, I don't have any travel planned by March, and with the free nights having a 6 month expiration, I'm not sure it's worth the mattress run.

Me neither but I have had an email inviting me to enjoy the London hotels. Which are in Tier 3 ....(Lifetime Titanium btw)
