Would you rather have 5000 points or 4000?

i'm assuming that the screen shot above for 6 Bonvoy points for 5 membership rewards points being normal and the special offer being 3 Bonvoy points for 2 Membership Rewards points. that's the way it is here in canada. if the numbers are backwards, then of course you are right.
but if my assumption is correct, then which would you rather get, 12 Bonvoy points for 10 Membership Rewards points or 15 Bonvoy points for the same 10 Membership Rewards points?
6:5 is the same as 12:10. just double both numbers.
3:2 is the same as 15:10. just multiply both sides by 5.

Maybe they do things differently in Canada but you’re converting MR to Bonvoy points and generally the transfer ratio is described as X:Y, where X represents the origin (MR) and Y represents the destination (Bonvoy). That’s how I’ve always seen and understood it in the UK at least.
Assuming this holds true then the 25% bonus is correctly described, so I think that’s probably the case.

That’s odd - that screenshot looks completely different from the original one you posted, which suggested to me the 6=>5 ratio from MR to Bonvoy. The minimum transfer figure has changed also.
I think someone else (preferably from DE) needs to way in at this point as that looks unlike anything I’ve seen. Have you actually tried contacting someone to confirm the true situation?

that is one lousy exchange rate considering how much the EUR/CAD exchange is.
