Marriott - Double Points on Weekend Stays thru 30 Nov 2020 [Targeted ?]
Not sure if it's targeted, but I got an email from Marriott saying: Earn double points on any eligible stay that includes a Friday or Saturday night. Register, then stay within 3 months to earn your exclusive bonus.

It must be targeted because I didn't get the email. FWIW, I'm a Titanium Elite.

I got this a few days ago. Helps me big time as I will be staying in Marriots the entirety of Oct and Nov and sporadic dates in between

I don't think there is a public link, at least at this point. Since Marriott sometimes rolls out its promotions over some time, I'm not sure if others will receive the same message. But I still wanted to share, as it shows that Marriott is looking for some good strategies to attract people to its hotels.

I already have 113 EQNs in 2020 and don’t have any upcoming stays booked so I am most likely not the clientele Marriott wants to target with double points on weekends since most of my travels fall over a weekend.

I have over 70 nights upcoming within the earning period for this promotion. 60+ will involve a weekend stay, which I booked months ago. I think the algorithm might be a bit more random as there is no way they would just give me all these extra points for no reason when they could easily bypass people like me no?

I got a different double point promo in the email yesterday. Mine is "Earn double points on stays of two or more nights." I have a couple of one night weekend stays coming up. Wish I got this promo instead! Wonder if the algo knew and or it was just a coincidence.

Actually, most of my stays are on weekends too, as I travel frequently from Houston to Seattle to visit my wife.
