Comments: My 2nd time here. Resort was at full capacity due to long holidays. Standard room was spacious and nice enough. Pretty good service overall. Elite treatment was marriott’s standard and nothing special. Beach and pools are nicer than expected. Another solid ‘Marriott property’ in Thailand,

Comments: My 2nd time here. Very few guests to be seen. Lounge was still closed, no reopen date specified yet. temporary lounge was set up in front of Siam Tea room. the evening offering was meh at best. had breakfast in Goji restaurant for free (mainly a la carte+small buffet). overall it was a very good stay, much better than my 1st one.

Courtyard Lake Placid, NY

Property: Courtyard Lake Placid, NY
Date(s): July 13th to 18th
Room booked: Two Queen
Room received: Two Queen Suite
Elite Level: Lifetime Titanium
Award stay: Yes
Rate Type: n/a
LNF stay: No
SNAs redeemed: YES. SNA was for larger two queen room, Two queen suite wasn't offered as a SNA choice (king suite was offered; but I needed two queen beds for this trip). Received second unsolicited upgrade to two queen suite at check in. Perhaps I would have gotten the suite without the SNA; however, I was just happy to get it and it was worth the SNA's for me.
Comments: Hotel handled Covid well. Bistro only open on weekends. Coffee and complimentary grab n' go breakfast offered the rest of the week. We had brought breakfast food with us but did try it a couple of times. Grab n' go breakfast was a bag with either a muffin or a bagel w/cream cheese and a piece of fruit. While minimal, still a nice touch especially since Courtyard typically doesn't offer complimentary breakfast. Gym was closed. Indoor pool and hot tub area was limited to a total of 10 people. Max. people enforced by requiring you to ask Front Desk staff to let you into the pool area. The process worked well for my wife and I. We got to use the hot tubs in private for about an hour one day. We didn't try to access them the other days. Toiletry bag given out at check-in. Additional toiletries and fresh linens available upon request. Could also leave linens in the hallway in the morning and fresh linens placed in a bag on the door for you. Complimentary hand sanitizer available for guest use. Guest compliance with mask requirements generally good until our last day (a Friday) where the hotel was getting more crowded for the weekend. Still not bad but went from near %100 compliance to approx. %80 to %90 compliance with wearing masks inside the hotel. Rooms are comfortable though showing some wear. It has been five years since their last renovation. Overall, a very nice stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Comments: My 1st time here. Like MMQP, very desert right now due to covid. No availability of any other room types on marriott.com. They said they were operating with only 3 floors (out of 20+ floors) so they can not upgrade me to one of the suite. The standard room i got was pretty good in decor though not spacious, i also liked the bathroom a lot. Staff were very nice and helpful. Service was overall very good. Might return if the rate was right.
