Yes, I should have clarified that, A Deluxe King room was 999++THB. I emailed them with some questions & they offered me 600 THB for Lounge Access or 800 THB for a Suite with Lounge Access. I couldn't say no to the Lounge+Suite. A bargain.

Upgraded was by 3 categories IIRC. Great Plat recog. in terms of late checkout. Was proactively given until 5pm despite saying I didn't need it.(I did in the end) Side note, claimed welcome amenity as breakfast, and had a fantastic Lobster and Crab omelet delivered by room service. The lounge is closed, so alcohol service in the bar/lounge in the lobby from 6-8 pm. Outside the club lounge, there was a sign informing that happy hour was moved to the lobby bar but staff were not informed of this, so there was some trouble until they decided to go upstairs to see the sign for themselves with me in tow. One restaurant is only open for breakfast on floor -1. Mask wearing was not up to par for me as I saw more than a couple of 3rd party workers as well as front desk staff not wearing masks properly or at all when on phone but always when speaking in person to guests.
