Itemized List of Points Earned for a Stay?
Ok, I feel really stupid asking this question, but is there a way to see an itemized list of points earned for a stay? I never used to pay attention to points earned per stay, "trusting" that Marriott was calculating them properly.
Recently, I've begun to suspect they haven't been doing so. Particularly with respect to points awarded for the stupid resort fee. Example: When I stayed at the WDW Dolphin recently, they assured me I'd get 125 points/night as an alternative amenity for the stupid resort fee since I'm a Lifetime Titanium. On the Activity Summary on the website, all it shows is "+35,765 Points (20,437 Base + 15,328 Elite + 0 Extra)". The bill downloaded from the website shows nothing about Bonvoy points. All it shows are charges and credits. When I add up all the non-tax items on the bill, I don't get $2,043.70. I get $2,306.66.
So, anyone know where I would get the breakdown of Bonvoy points earned per stay?

If you could send a copy of the hotel folio to us via below email address, we are happy to help review the stay credit for you. Please send the folio as an attachment to the email and include your Flyertalk username.

Is there a way for us to see how the points are added up? I don't want to send my folio off every time I stayed at a hotel. IHG showed the calculation very clearly when I logged in and checked.

In the old Marriott web site, we could see the itemized list of points for each stay. It would be very helpful to add this functionality back into the current web site.

So did SPG. I have had to have errors corrected with considerable frequency since the merge ( 1 in every 2 or 3 stays). Easy to do but frustrating to have to. Itoo find the lack of transparency to be extremely frustrating.

What you are seeing is the (in)famous Marriott opacity - they prefer to hide all pertinent info from consumers. That rarely goes well these days.
