Best Marriott Resorts with direct flights from NYC for January Escape

Any recommendations for the best marriott resorts with direct flights from JFK?
ST Punta Mita doesnt have any direct flights. Already been to Ritz Grand Cayman, Cancun, and Bahamas.

Looking for warm, beach, pool, and luxury

Any suggestions would be great!

Miami would be the obvious place if warm rather than hot would be OK.

Maybe JW Rio although it's right in the city and doesn't really have resort facilities. Beach is across the street. However, IMO GH Rio (in Barra) has more of a resort feel and is much nicer.

There are similar choices in Sydney although the beach places aren't that close to downtown. QF is preparing to start nonstop service.

Maybe Singapore Sentosa Island, although I'm not sure of the current status of the SQ nonstop.

AFAIK there aren't nonstops from NYC to Thailand, Indonesia, or Malaysia.

How about DXB?

IIRC there's a Marriott in Aruba but I don't think it's particularly nice the way a RC or StR would be.

Puerto Rico?

We’re doing St Regis Bahia in Puerto Rico in December. Tons of easy nonstops from NYC. Will let you know how it goes.

Please do. I keep here such great things about it. We stayed close by at a non-Marriott resort a couple of years back and enjoyed the location.

The Ritz Carlton on St. Thomas is either open or very close to being open. STT is a great island and the RC location puts you at an easy ferry connection to St. John for a fun day trip.

With one stop the flights to Cabo will not meet the OP timing criteria. The non-stop is only once per week and you are stuck in Economy or the old crappy First for over 6+ hours...but definitely the best/only option without a stop. I'm having a similar dilemma as the OP searching for a warm weather trip from the NYC area in March. Solaz is at the top of my list but I just am not keen on the flight options. It's essentially a transcon so why not fly it with a decent premium cabin?

Because not enough people will pay for it to a destination like Cabo.

Definitely not one that was on my radar but it look very nice so I will do some more research. Not a deal breaker for me but the elite benefits at the Design Hotels suck so I need to take that into consideration.
