How cheap did you hit 100 nights -2019 Edition

Just for giggles, thought it would be interesting to see how cheap those of us were who hit 100 nights but will not reach the 20K spend to qualify for Ambassador this year. In my case I just hit 100 nights at only $10,200USD spend.

15 nights Credit Card
16 nights Redemptions
69 nights paid.

Average $147.82USD per revenue night

As of now, thanks to the 15 CC nights and the Double Elite Nights promo, I'm sitting at 96 nights and have spent $8297 over 62 paid nights (~134/night). I have a two-night stay coming up that with the promo will put me at 100 nights, but my rate is such I expect to have just under $400 qualifying spend.

Funny you started this thread- I was going to post something similar in the big "Ambassador" thread when I cross over, just for a laugh.

My spend is all out-of-pocket and with FIs in CA easily going for $300/night, I sometimes have to plan my trips around stay rates.

I managed to hit 100 nights weeks ago with only $5,000 spend this year, lol. 15 Marriott credit card nights, 20 redemption nights, 10 nights paid by client corporate account, and the rest self paid.

I am at 93 nights with $9926 in spend. Over $2K of that was 2 nights at the St. Regis Bora Bora. I have a few more stays but will purposely stop at 99 nights and stay elsewhere.

For next year, I will be at 27 nights in February with $0.00 spend

If Marriott wants to charge me for "loyalty," there is no incentive to book beyond Titanium. Marriott doesn't value guests who spend $20K over a week nor do they value guest who spend in excess of 200 nights at $80 a night. Sad! They need to have an Elite Gift option for the 100 night level for everyone. If you don't have enough spend for an Ambassador, at least there is some incentive to book a few more stays to reach 100 nights.

Well, at least they haven't change to Revenue Loyalty like United
For me, I usually stay around 20 to 25 nights a year on my own at really low prices in places like Indonesia, Thailand, China, etc.
The other 25 to 30 nights come from super expensive nights paid by my employer, at times from Master Accounts at fancy JW or Ritz Hotels like the L.A Live. So, I am really not even using my CC to pay them and still get the nights credited to my account. I usually only stay Platinum (around +50 nights) and use IHG hotels as my other prefered hotel company.

I'm at 50 nights (15 of them ccard credits) so 35 actual nights, and $13,753 spend. This is ~$393/night. However, 4 of those nights were award stays, so we are at 31 paid nights, for an average of $444/night . Would be nice if Bonvoy went to spend based status!

I'm in the opposite boat. Over $20k but only 91 nights (with bookings to 99). In October I have 11 Hyatt nights.

Except for the $20k threshold for Ambasador.

119 nights, $21k spend - 15 nights via CC. I've moved over to Hyatt to finish out the year since there aren't any milestone awards/etc for Marriott
