Points and long term stay rate
I'm looking at booking a 7 night stay at the Courtyard in Long Beach CA early next year. The website is giving me only a "long-term stay rate"
I can't find the information - but will I: - Get the usual number of points (I'm Gold so 10 per $ plus 25%) - Get full night and stay credit |
Yes you will

Concur with uibd, you definitely will get points. Properties use LTS rate as a way to offer extra discounts for longer stays. What constitutes longer varies by property (and perhaps by time of year as well). I have typically only seen it for stays of 5+ nights. Sometimes the LTS rate can be a very good deal, especially at Residence Inn.

I can also provide data points. I just did a 3 month stay at a JW on a long term stay rate, and got full points and night credit. On a 3 month stay at a Renaissance right now and expect to get the credit here too.

I've never seen a Marriott franchise agreement, but I believe every rate you'll find on Marriott.com will get you full points. The only rates where the hotel can limit this would be private (corporate) / wholesale (travel package) rates. It is possible to negotiate rates directly with the hotel that could exclude amenities, but that's a discussion for a different thread.
uibd -- I want your job/employer. |
Yes even CAA/AAA (pittance discount) counts. The discount is not a lot but it's booked through Marriott so it counts.
