Could the Lurkers please clarify here: does your response mean that everyone is supposed to be eligible for this promotion and getting a "We're sorry" message is just a technical glitch that can get fixed by writing in? Or is this promotion being offered to less than 100% of Bonvoy members?

If it's just a technical glitch, can you also maybe ask the IT team to change the glitch landing page so that it doesn't suggest an eligibility problem?

Well if those secondary offers are accurate. My bet is most people will get the first one. I know I'll likely get it. So the Max will likely end up will be 2K + 4K.

Nice I'll get maybe a tenth of the points for one night at a hotel I'd want to stay at. At least that be twice what I got on the last one, which ended before a set of stays and this one begins after I check out on the 27th. the rest of the year is lite on paid nights, only 4 two night stays and a 7 night stay with a 7 night points certificate. This will end up being a 15th of what the spring promo earned.

I thought promos where suppose to encourage booking and not just comic relief.

This is too bad for me. I don't do many trips but I've had 13 nights (that could have been 13 stays) in October. And now only 3 nights / 2 stays for the rest of the year.

At least I'll make Platinum.

Currently is 30% off ... (expired in 2 days time though)

But then again 2000 is much bigger than 30

Anyway .... the promotion is quite worthless.

I do have 5 more stays to do this year and only 2 will go to Bonvoy.
The other 2 will go to Accor (to reach platinum) and 1 stay will be with Kempinski Hotel (wont affect my loyalty level with them)

Honestly, even with better promotion, the stays might stay the same as I aim for other benefit than points.
(Extremely good promo might can sway my Kempinski stay)

We are not supposed to have to struggle in order to benefit from that kind of promotion. I got the message that I was excluded from this promotion, like many of us.

You all are so half empty pessimists

Perhaps after staying twice and getting 2000, the next stay doubles to 4000, and the next to 8000, and the next to 16,000

Oh well at least I could dream, can't wait for the first person to unlock and share the next level, maybe they will have a little spinning wheel in the app that rotates like the wheel of fortune with a few bankrupt landing zones to spice up the bonus adventure and also a million point landing too!

Let the unlocking race begin, who knows maybe they ain't that stupid, or is their past behavior predictive of what we all think will be unlocked, LOL

I kind-of wish Marriott would just not bother...something this weak (unless the underlying offers are strong) is really not even worth promoting. The only asterisk is that the Q2 promo was pretty solid from my POV.
