Courtyard Inverness (INV) Airport, Scotland [Master Thread]

They’re suppose to be building a Courtyard by INV airport and opening in November. Does anyone know when they will take reservations?

Great to see that Marriott is coming back to Inverness - we might venture north again!

Their website says opening in December but looks like you can't book them, however they've got bookable dates up in January (didn't look past that month but assume you can make bookings?)

So we have no idea when we can book? It’s so close to the airport.

You can book now for stays after the 6th January.

I suppose they are being cautious in case there is any delays in finishing the project and they would then need to cancel folks bookings... and peeve them off!

This hotel would be ideal for the cheaper ex-INV BA flights that depart early morning to LHR.

Yes that’s what I’m using it for for that ungodly 7am BA flight. I think I have 10 hours from when I touch down to when I’m back in the air again. They’re only charging $60 for a brand new hotel too next to the airport. I don’t know if I got a good deal as others are reporting it’s more expensive in the $140+ range, but I guess it’s just the off season (February)?

Unfortunately I guess opening has been pushed back as Marriott reached out to me. My stay in early February was rebooked free of charge to the Cullen House nearby with taxi transportation.

Did you pre-pay, or just a reservation. I have a February reservation, and so far haven't been contacted by Marriott...

Yes I prepaid I believe. When in February? Mine is Feb. 10-12. I suppose I will just miss the opening. Oh well at least this way I have a taxi service directly meeting me.

Last week of February. We’ve been re-accommodated in the Culloden House as well.

Really can’t fault how they’ve dealt with our booking, which wasn’t a pre-paid stay.

Life's too short to worry about getting a proper English breakfast.
