My acct was hacked this morning..HELP

Is there a dedicated phone # for getting in touch with Marriott re: fraud/hacks?

I'm on hold using the general MR # but not sure if there is a better method. Thx

I just changed my password and my acct shows NO recent activity!

Just talked to a CS rep. and the email was a mistake, part of a mass email. Nice IT dept.

Erroneous "Thanks for Sharing" email sent by Marriott

PSA

Just received a Thanks for Sharing email from Marriott indicated I had shared 24,000 points from my account. Marriott confirmed a number of these error emails went out today.

"You shard Points;"...9 months ago. We are letting you know today.

Got an email today about sharing points with my wife today. Transaction was 9 months ago. (I checked for any fraudulent activity.) On the Bonvoy Group FB page, this happened to a bunch of people today. Marriott IT strikes again.

Same here on both mine and Mr. Fink’s accounts. I am on the phone with Marriott right now and was going to post the outcome. I did change both of our passwords before calling.

The rep put me on hold and it has been about 25 minutes now. I don’t want to hang up but if it really is an error, I have better things to do than sit on hold.

Got a EMAIL "Thanks for sharing" message on my and my wife's account a few minutes ago. "YOU SHARED POINTSRXXXXX HXXX, you recently shared points from your Marriott Bonvoy™ account. Here are the details:•Number of points: 5000"
Thought it was very authentic looking "Phishing". Our accounts show no activity.

Same here. The transfer was last December. But I still called in to make sure there was no new activity (there wasn't). Helpful rep said she'd report this internally since mine was the first call on this she received.

Email from Marriott saying my spouse transferred points to me

Looks like it was sent in error. Amount of points matches a transfer we did last year.

I'm getting the same emails all from past transactions over a year ago. I was alarmed at first but I think it's just a glitch on Marriott's end.
