For those registered in the past check your marriott account because you might have gotten a bonus today. I flew with them a few weeks ago but today got added a bonus of 8,421 points called 'Emirates dual currency points'.

I started using EK just after the partnership with SPG closed previously so very glad to see this reopen again! Partnerships like this are surely an absolute win / win for both companies, helping to encourage potentially high value future customers to try your product.

I was beginning to worry that the amount of time it was taking for this to reopen meant Marriott was going to drop EK to partner with just UA/a US carrier instead like Hyatt has with AA. From a non-US resident perspective, I think it reflects positively on Marriott's ambitions that they've chosen to continue with a global airline like Emirates rather than choose a US carrier.

I though these are points from your Emirates flight ?

I think the Bonvoy merge create huge delays in processing the miles/points.

My points from Emirates flight post 1-2 weeks after the flight
But the point from my hotel stays post quite late.
In fact I got all my points from January stays up until June stays today.

Not bad for an extra 20k or so Skywards miles.

I flew Emirates about 6 weeks ago but used my JB which it still hasn't posted. My return flight is next month. Is that mean I don't get anything because I flew with JB?

I would think if you used any other number than your Emirates then you wouldn't get the Marriott points.

With that said, did you get in-airport benefits while using your JB number on your Emirates flight?
