ClassicTravel is missing most Luminous properties by the way. I have emailed them about this several times and gotten no reply. For ex, JW Marriott and W in Singapore are both Luminous properties but you'd never know it from the ClassicTravel site.

We are considering booking through Stars program for an Edition hotel on Classictravel. Does anyone know if we use our Bonvoy Boundless card, will it show up as a hotel charge and we would qualify for 6x pts in the total stay cost? Or does the payment go directly to Classictravel?

I cannot speak for Classictravel specifically, but generally hotel rates coded under STARS would transact payments via the hotel directly, including any deposits that might be required. Of course, there are tons of FT members running small businesses at this time who would gladly transact a STARS booking. Look at this thread or over at the Luxury Hotels Forum here on FT.

At JW Singapore I received an array of desserts along with a bottle of wine which I ended up sending back as I don't drink.

Items like that are perfect to communicate to whatever TA / advisor you work with to book the rates. Wine is a default usually, but things like fresh squeezed juice, smoothies etc can be requested.
