The 1500 bonus points appear when the qualifying stay posts in the Extras column. Hence my stay last weekend at Le Merdien Bangkok - where, incidentally, I was upgraded to the Presidential Suite - posted as normal on Monday afternoon with 2500 points in the Extras column representing the 1000 welcome points + 1500 Endless Earning points. These 1500 points simultaneously appeared in the running tally in the Promotions section of my account.
That is to be expected because it's exactly how the previous double-points Global Promo posted (with the stay in the Extras column). Targeted promos may post differently. I don't know. I've not had one. But let's not confuse the two. The Global Promo posts in the Extras column. |
Marriott.com keeps telling me to register--then tells me I am not eligible! Stop teasing me.

As long as a registered member’s stay is eligible and meets the two-night minimum, that stay will count toward promotion credit, even if the stay “straddles” the earning period.

william, i had a 2 night stay from the 1st-3rd july....i never got the promotion credit....i followed up with my ambassador this morning & just received a reply that i am not eligible for this credit since my stay started before the promo period....is she correct or do i need to ask her to check again????
We have confirmed that members have to have 2 nights within promotion period to be eligible for the promotion. In your case, as you had only one night (2 July) within promotion period, you would not receive bonus points for this stay. If you need any further assistance, please let us know. Same for me (both the app and the website) -- means I already missed out on the first stay bonus from this week

Spent three nights in a Marriott in Panama on July 8-11, but did not receive the points.
Spent about 10 minutes arguing with a Marriott Customer Service Rep who tried convincing me that the promotion did not apply to me because it was for new members only. Very frustrating. |

Asked for a supervisor who was able to credit me for the missing points. It just took a long time before the supervisor came on the line.

Still unable to register for this promo.
Curious what the new promo is going to be. Hilton just launched another 2x points (3x if you use your Hilton CC to pay). I'll be set with Titanium for 2020 after our vacation trip next week -- unless Marriott comes up with something interesting may end up going with Hilton 4Q (doesn't hurt that I've got some Asia travel and I've got an in-policy rate at the Conrad in all cities in question). |

Bonvoy newbie here. I understand from this post that the "Endless Earning" promo points are comingled with the total for each hotel stay, rather than shown as a separate line item in the "activity" section. I was invited and did register for the promo. In the "Extras" column for my most recent stay, there is a 2,000 point bonus, without any explanation of what it is for. I was expecting only the 1,500 for the Endless Earning, and have no idea of what the other 500 might be. Or might this be an unrelated promo that gave me all 2,000? I don't see any way of telling what makes up the total "extras".
