I received it. I assumed it was based on my nearly complete drop-off in stays. 1800+ LT, I think one or two in the last year.

But if non-Amb with many stays this year are getting it, then who knows....

Ambassador, lifetime titanium, nothing yet (but not stressing about it, and won't even if I don't get one). I thought the ambassador gift a few weeks ago was already a nice touch.

The latter category could well be to encourage future brand loyalty beyond a period of heavy travel.

I recall reading Marriott was working with Salesforce extensively, so maybe this an expansion of them using their metrics to target customers.
