I haven't looked on my Amex statement yet but the points deposited to my MAR account seem odd?
-Have over 10K for MAR hotel spend
-A very small amount that says Amex CDA Default? (never seen this before)
-Base spend
...and then a bunch for Amex CDA Special Offer?
Unless I have lost track of promotions etc.

In a surprisingly related comment to the one above me, is there anybody that currently has a mix of US and Canadian cards, 1 personal and 1 biz that is getting the 30 nights credit? I would think that if you had a US personal and Canadian biz, or vice versa, the 15 + 15 would stack, but I’m curious if anybody has real life experience. Realize this is a very niche situation...
I have a Marriott US Chase card and a CDN Marriott [ B]onvoy Amex card. Prior to last year, I always got 15 Elite nights on my US card and 15 elite nights on my Canadian card. Back then, I have the Canadian Marriott Chase card so that's why I was getting 15 elite nights on both cards. I am now limited to 15 elite nights on just one of those cards but I am told that if I had the Canadian Marriott Amex BUSINESS card that I would be eligible for 15 nights on each card. Does anyone know if it's worth it to move from my Current Marriott Amex card over to the business card? What is the difference in annual fees? And is there a difference in the way one accumulates points?
Can you earn 30 elite night credits for Bonvoy from credit cards?

No issues here, but it happened to me once before (maybe on my US card). I remember reading an explanation on FT that it had something to do with only having points from Marriott spend and nothing from non-Marriott spend. Does that match with what was on your last statement?

Thanks for the data point! So Cdn Amex is same as US Amex. Good to know even though it will never affect me here as my SPG Amex is my primary card.

I like the continued use of SPG Amex. Even though my statement says Bonvoy, I still have the old Canadian SPG Amex as its expiry isn't until 2022. Until then, long live the SPG Amex.

I see a ton of posts showing different scenarios but can anyone confirm if the 15 elite nights will stack with the Canadian Consumer and Business Marriott Amex? I have 15 already this year from the consumer which I cancelled. I'd like another 15 to get upgrade certificates for a trip (likely the only trip I'll take all year due to COVID) and want guaranteed upgrades. I see that a Marriott rep said no in an earlier post but wondering if people's real life experience shows it can be done.
Annoying how you can stack the US Consumer and Business (it literally states in the terms that they can stack) but not the Canadian Consumer and Business.

And you are indeed from Canada, so you would have every reason to pay attention to this detail (even though you, personally, have access to the U.S. cards).

If I recall last year the free night from the AMEX card came very early - I think right after the new year? It usually came on the card Anniversary date which mine is in April, so I would be expecting mine very shortly.
The only reason I ask is that my account continues to pop up saying I have a free night to use before it expires - I don't. I just wanted to double check if anyone is seeing the same thing or the IT system simply has not removed it properly or reset itself?

Ok. So now that my anniversary date has come & gone, how quickly is it for the Free Night Cert to be posted to the account as I don't have it yet? I cannot remember from the past years. The message still shows up on my account that I have a free night that will expire - I didn't but now my new one should show up. I didn't ask for the Lurkers assistance before as I thought I would wait for my Anniversary date to come through and thought it might just correct itself?
