SoCal Best Property w/Pool?
 
Any thoughts on the best SoCal (LA-OC-SD) property if I want the best pool with the most sun (and nicest, expansive pool ideally...but sun is the priority)? JW Merigot seems shady and chilly, being that it's near the beach (arrival is mid-May, one day only). Bonus if they treat Ambassadors well. Maybe Ritz Marina del Rey or Dana Point? (but no free breakfast there I know). Any good ideas?

The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina has an excellent outdoor pool area.

I've never stayed at the RC Dana Point so I can't compare.

San Diego Marriott Marquis definitely has a better pool than the JW Santa Monica. San Diego just always seems not as warm as LA.

JW LA Live has a decent pool as well. SLS has a rooftop pool but isn't particularly large and can be a bit of a scene, rather than a pool.

Is there something of interest in Palm Springs? Those pools should get lots of sun.

This is excellent advice. Visitors to San Diego are often disappointed by “May Gray” — we typically only have 8 really sunny days that month.

Palm Springs will have much better odds—
