Moxy Memphis Downtown - TN [Master Thread]
Opening May June '19. Category 4. Hotel website:
https://www.marriott.com/hotels/trav...phis-downtown/
"Get a room at the bar, then get ready to play in a city built around it's legendary music scene. Rapidly progressing, Memphis is the home of Jookin, the Blues and Rock 'n' Roll. We've created an active and buzzing haven where you can celebrate self expression and interconnection, work, live, debate, and play. Join a creative community and freely mix with worldly travelers and the fun hunting citizens of a vibrant southern city. Hang with your crew, or make new friends in our all day and night activated spaces. End with a nightcap, and off into a cushy bed. We know it's all about location, we're in the center of Downtown Memphis off the Main Street Trolley Line, within walking distance to all the hot spots, FedEx Forum, Autozone Park, Orpheum Theatre, and the Beale Street District. Convention Groupie? We got you, turn left, and skip less than a half mile."

This is going to share a lot with the springhill suites and courtyard. I wouldn't call this the "center" of downtown (beale street is now really the "center" since south of beale has been revitalized), it's a bit north of most of the tourist/nightlife activity, and court square has a pretty large homeless community (though they are mostly friendly and harmless). It is right on the trolley line, though.
