Mine posted (have both the legacy SPG and legacy Marriott personal cards). Nice to receive them early in the year (not that it really makes a difference). Inching closer to the 50 I need to secure Y10 of Platinum and then time to explore the field until Marriott sorts itself out

My understanding is it comes after you have paid the bill for your anniversary yearly fee.

i don't think it works that way with my chase marriott card....that renews in november each year & the free night posts to my account a couple of days after yearly fee hits my account....not after i have paid the bill....

i'm assuming the situation should be similar here....the charge hit my account last week, the 15 elite nights showed up this morning but the free night is yet to post....

When will such cards be available in Asia? I feel that we are at a serious disadvantage here. Marriott is also missing out on a massive market - they could easily release a co-branded card with Citibank who has a reasonable footprint. If there are any ways for those outside the US to get these elite credits, I, along with many others, would be forever grateful!

I received the 15 night credit, but WHY? My Marriott Rewards Premier (not plus) credit card normally posts the 15 nights in October each year. Why did I receive this now? Can I still apply for the AMEX card next month?

Nothing stopping you from applying for the AMEX, but there is a single 15 night credit now no matter how many cards you have.

Yes. I don't really care about the nights (Lifetime Platinum Elite), but I don't want to be blocked from the 100,000 points and $300 credit from opening the Brilliant Amex. I've had my MR Visa for 8 years.
