Q : Does a 1-night stay count as the first stay ?
A : Yes, this would count as the first stay as long as the one night falls within the promotion period.
Q : Does an award stay count as the first stay ?
A : No, full award stays do not count towards this offer as a first stay.
Q : Does a stay that straddles the start / end date of the promotion period count ?
A : If you check-in before March 19 but check-out after, that stay will count as a Double Take stay. Likewise, if you check-in before June 4, that stay will count as a Double Take stay, even if you check out after.
Q : Which points are doubled ?
A : Double points are only applicable to the base points you’ll earn on a stay.
Q: If a member is enrolled in both Double Take and "Exclusively For You: Double Points" promotion, will they earn for both promotions?

Hope this helps some folks...
- I called in today to inquire on the points posting, and after 5-10 min, the rep came back and stated that the points posted as part of the "Extra" amounts with each stay.
- Then, I did the math, and it checked out after subtracting 500 or 1000 from each Extra amount depending on property.
- Ex: (2,864 Base + 1,432 Elite + 3,864 Extra). Back out 1,000 from the 3,864 Extra.

- I called in today to inquire on the points posting, and after 5-10 min, the rep came back and stated that the points posted as part of the "Extra" amounts with each stay.

So it's been 6 weeks since the promo ended and no weekend bonus has posted.
I called Marriott today, and the agent I spoke to had no idea what bonus I was talking about. I asked to speak to a supervisor. He said he was a supervisor.
I told him the promo ran from Mar 19 to June 4. He insisted that this was a double points promo and not a weekend bonus promo. I read him the T&Cs above.
He insisted that those points would be coming from Amex and not Marriott just like the monthly points. I said there is no way for Amex to know whether I have a weekend stay or not. All they see is a charge on the statement. Who knows if it was prepaid, or charged a few days late.
He tried to disqualify some of my stays because they were only a Friday or a Saturday night stay. I re-read the T&Cs to him.
In the end, he ran out of excuses and finally gave me my missing points.
