Small qustion to Bonvoy, really we need an answer from someone from Marriott please
why only US card holder from first stay ?
why not any Bonvoy credit card holder they are total of 3 or 4 countries after USA ( UK, Canada and UAE )
They are a total of 5% if not less make us happy also why the discrimination and differentiation.
Yes it's not a big deal but why !
By the way we pay more to hold your credit card and we get less benefits..
In Dubai we pay $400 to hold the card.
Totally unfair..member since 2005 first time got this feeling.

That's what I see as well when I click on the link posted here. Plus nothing on my Promotion Central page, no email, no snail mail flyer, nada. Just like the recent targeted promo. I am definitely not feeling the love from Bonvoy...and if you add in my missing stays, etc. I am questioning my loyalty to this brand after all these years. sigh...

I have a three night stay in China that checks out on March 19 .
Will that count for the first stay ?
If not, will extending the stay to 20th make it count ?
If extending doesn't work, I may just check in at a nearby cheap Bonvoy property to get the first stay sorted .

I did not see anyone mentioning this, but there's a piggyback promotion for US-Bonvoy credit card holders:
- Earn Even More. Marriott Bonvoy U.S. Card Members earn an exclusive bonus of 500 additional points for weekend stays** — starting with the first stay.
- **A "weekend stay" is defined as a stay that includes a Friday or Saturday night regardless of where the hotel is located.
I am also not eligible to register no matter which link I try, how many times I refresh the screen or whether I log in or out. But I believe this has always been a feature of Marriott promos since long before the merger, no?

Lurker team tells me my wife's account is signed up for the promo. However, I still don't see it listed either online or in the app, and the promo homepage continues to have the "page you seek is no longer available" error. So I'm somewhat perplexed
