December 2020. I believe her "Years as Platinum" counter incremented from zero to one, so that might explain it.
She received the additional 15 nights upon approval, which immediately raised her to Marriott Bonv°y Gold Elite status.
She got 30 nights for the two credit cards on 1 January, and should get her 13 Elite Nights Credit (ENC) "head start" (not "Rollover") nights very soon — whenever that batch is processed — so with 43 nights she is close to Platinum Elite status regardless.

In the past couple of years, the annual counters have incremented for most of us in mid- to late February or early March.
One can see years of Silver, Gold, and Platinum after signing in to one's account.
This can be done through the website, or on the cell phone application ("app").
On the app, after signing in, press "Account" in the bottom right corner. Then scroll right to the "Lifetime Status" page. Press on the "Years as Silver or Higher" link.

I see a fair amount of data points here (as of the time of posting) that people who should be receiving Platinum status as part of a signup bonus from the Bonvoy Brilliant (or Amex Bonvoy Business card) are not seeing it. Is anyone actually seeing it yet? Mine has yet to update, and not seeing the rollover nights either.

I have been checking other forums too, and I have not seen anyone who actually received Platinum status.
I contacted Amex and they confirmed I am eligible to get Platinum status and should have gotten it on on Feb 1st. It seema like Marriott is not processing it properly and I was told to contact Marriott.
I was not sure how to contact Marriott about this, so I sent a message on Twitter and have been waiting for their reply.

I haven't received mine either and I've got an upcoming 38 nights stay. I think I'll go to Hilton. Don't know how they execute this but that was a terrible experience to start with.

Our sincere apologies for the delay in awarding the Platinum Elite status. We are having unforeseen technical difficulties and are making every effort to resolve the problem. But if I downgrade before it posts, in theory, AMEX can claw back the $300 credit of the past year from my understanding of their updated T&C.
Looking for data points to make my decision.

No problem with the Chase-AmEx interaction. Business and personal cards are separate categories.
My wife has a $95-annual-fee personal Chase Marriott Bonv°y Visa card. She applied for the business Marriott Bonv°y AmEx card last December and, having spent $5K within 90 days, received her 100,000-point sign-up bonus (SUB).
I am not sure whether Platinum Elite status was part of her offer.
