Same here, have never gotten a real suite, got Junior Suite once at Westin Bayshore but traded it for Exec Deluxe due to view/location

Comments: SNA cleared 5 nights out and showed Signature Suite. Assigned Atelier Suite (1 level down) at check-in. Actually preferred this category anyway, so quite happy with the assignment. Great suite, great hotel!

Room received: Club Level King

Room booked: Premium King
Room received: Club Level King
Elite Level: Ambassador
Award stay: No

Comments: Preassigned upgrade to Club Level King at mobile check-in. Ironically wanted to try one of the Premium rooms as they have recently been renovated (and the club level has not) so almost felt like a downgrade, but I can't complain about an upgrade ... can I? Did not ask for suite at check-in.

Comments: Requested SNA for any of the following suite, Grand Dandolo Suite, Lagoon View Suite, Signature Suite, Doge Dandolo Royale Suite. Was impressed that we got upgraded to the 2nd best category room in the entire hotel and we took two of the three of the Signature Suites! Published rate for these suites are 3500EUR+!
That's a proof of our Italian generosity!

Comments: Applied SNA for a Marvelous Suite but was denied. They don't upgrade Titanium Elite to Pool Villa (which is worked for me as i prefer to stay in the main building anyway). Overall a good stay. Not as luxe as St. Regis but pretty good one.

Hotel Danieli is officially our best upgrade ever (even better than Suiran which upgraded us for 8 nights to the Presidential Suite). In 2007 the Danieli upgraded us to an unbelievably gorgeous Royal Suite for 7 nights which back then sold for 6000 euros per night. On a points stay!

We will never forget that.

As a Plat Premier (now Titanium) I was upgraded to a pool villa for a 5-night award stay. This despite my SNA request for a marvellous suite not having cleared.

Comments: Received proactive "You've been upgraded" via the app when I landed at LAX. Front Desk referred to Suite as a Kona suite, but have no idea how they came up with that name, Large Suite - my only first world complaint would be to put a bigger TV in the bedroom and match TV in the living room. Breakfast is only continental - there is a lounge, very very basic offerings in evening.

Comments: They gave me a little gift box of Ayurveda creams which I thought was a very nice touch as a gift. I was also able to use the Your24 option without my ambassador getting involved.

Comments: No gift given and I didn't ask. Also was charged for third person in room and for lounge accesss for third person. I ended up breaking a glass in the room and they wanted to charge me $25 for that but I fought that charge. Wasn't like I purposely broke the glass.
