Note that some targeted promos have a variable expiration date depending when the member activates the promo, which under certain circumstances could allow you to choose the timeframe for the promo that is most advantageous for your planned travel. Read the T&Cs about expiration timeline carefully before activating any targeted promo.

Good luck!

I got same offer, while my partner got only 1,500 + 3,000 for 2 stays. We are both Titanium. Kind of underwhelming.

A double EQN offer in January that's valid until the end of June sounds exceptionally generous! Normally you only ever get 3 months so I wouldn't feel too put out about it showing the end of April when you went to register. From the sound of it the original email contained an error - it's the T&C on the signup page that matters and what you got is exactly what I'd expect.

Ambassador/LTT with 49 nights YTD. I received the "Get 1,500 bonus points after one stay and 3,000 additional points after your second stay." promotion. For the amount of points I generate this is really a rounding error and Marriott has to know up front that it won't change any behavior or spending patterns.

My guess is that Marriott got a lot of blow back from not offering promotions to all their their top-tier elites, so they have decided to offer these very weak "promotions" as a way to try and keep their top tier elites from feeling left out. Better than nothing, but pretty transparent.

Ambassador/LTG.... The 4500 bonus points is not even enough for a night of redemption... I guess it is better than nothing!

I had the double points offer until June 30th, sadly not a super busy time for stays, but boy, the double points really add up.

Starting July 1st until August 31st double elite nights, which is great, because we are traveling through Asia, so lot's of cheaper hotels and will easily sail into another year of Titanium status - will be 8 years straight Titanium after this year.

I was pretty bummed, as I had nothing on the 1st go round....

I was passed by on the first round too. It was a double elite stay promotion that got me started with MR in 2015. It was a targeted promotion for non-USA accounts and lasted the entire year. I am only at 4 years platinum, 5 years Gold & Platinum. I should attain Titanium again this year fairly easily. FWIW, I recently attained Lifetime Silver... not much, I know. lol

Fellow FTiers! Would pre-existing bookings and corporate rate bookings work for double elite night credit promotion? ( I am relatively new to Marriott chain, so apologies for a dumb question, nothing mentioned in the t+c)

Checked the link above to see what offer I might get and similar to other reports - nada.

I am Lifetime Platinum Elite with 41 nights so far.

Looks like I need to look elsewhere for my stays short term - very disappointing.

Just curious about the Double Nights promo - any members registered in Europe that have received it?

LTG/Plat 20+ nights got 4500 points after two stays. No incentive to change anything (including my perception that promotions under Marriott are not aimed at me).

Just another datapoint. I received the double-night credit promotion. I am Titanium with 37 nights this year. I registered for the promotion but have ZERO nights booked within the promotional period. I have a few reservations for October and the promotion ends August 31st. I didn't receive any offer on the first go round when I had significant stays booked on 5 continents. Maybe it is more targeted than we think.

Yes, both should qualify.
