Booking/check in online - No physical presence. does that count towards nights
Hi all
Wondering , if i book a 1 week stay as a "nights run" in an Marriott hotel, yet i don't physically appear, does that count towards earning nights?
So say i book 7 nights and check in and out online, would those points count towards my annual nights? or do i physically have to be present at the hotel?

Marriott CS tells me there are some issues with bonus points posting. Mine have not posted as of now. Apparently it will be posted in 2 weeks from my last contact with them.

I wonder if we can use this thread to post any targetted promotions for 2019 ? not just February one

I received the 2x elite credit night offer and registered online for it (when originally received) but it's not showing in my account. Reached out to Bonvoy customer service agent but they had no idea about targeted promos. Then spoke to a manager who also didn't really know anything and then said she would forward my "request" to some ex-SPG team who handle targeted promos. Of course, I've heard nothing from them and nothing on my account still.
Anyone have ideas how I might get this sorted out? Customer service is shockingly poor and it feels like no one actually knows anything and just reads off a script. Thanks in advance.

Can anyone confirm the start date for the double night promotion? I think February 1. (I seem to be missing a couple of credits, but didn't want to make an issue of it until I could confirm the start date.) Thanks!
