Note that some targeted promos have a variable expiration date depending when the member activates the promo, which under certain circumstances could allow you to choose the timeframe for the promo that is most advantageous for your planned travel. Read the T&Cs about expiration timeline carefully before activating any targeted promo.

PPE here, also nada. But as a former SPG member I was lucky last year with Q4/17 and Q1/18 both I got double credit nights. But I agree with someone here who stated that Marriott really owes us all an apology regarding the merger and all the problems. But customer service and decency are rare nowadays.

As a data point, how many people here who didn't receive an offer were SPG? I wonder if that affects it.

Former SPG, got nothing. If that means no promotion for the whole quarter then that’s bad. Zero nights in 2019 because had to cancel 9 nights due to my mum passing away. It’ll be more difficult to make Platinum now but no sympathy from Marriott no doubt. Only my 3rd year with SPG / Marriott and 100% leisure stays. Seems they don’t want such customers.

i guess it is possible but how many of us, even if majority were from SPG, did not have a Marriott account prior to the merger? So “were from SPG” means what?

No email for me. Ambassador/LTPP with 4 nights YTD but another 30+ booked. I am technically a Ritz-Carlton Rewards member so maybe that has something to do it with it. I would really like to get a double elite nights credit now that RC is no longer offering that promo.

Sorry, been a Marriott elite for a while - got nothing either. Getting the impression that the more stays you had last year, the less they think they need to give you any incentive now.

3N here - already at 30 nights for 2019 and another 45 booked before May 15

I might hit 250 nights this year and still NO CHANCE at ambassador, but the hotel here did upgrade me for my entire stay and the hotel manager guaranteed me an upgrade when i return in April

Data point-Elite status, gold or platinum, with both programs, LTPPE with the new program, no offer through web, app or email.

Edit to add: FWIW, holder of "old" Marriott Rewards Visa and they have been sending daily emails to upgrade to the new card with escalating perks to switch, it's become cash in the last couple of days.
