Legacy Ambassador 100 nights SPG status not changed
Apologies if this has already been posted but I haven’t seen a thread on it.
For 2018 i had 100+ nights at SPG legacy hotels. Note that i did not have $20k in spend, but legacy rules state that I would still qualify for platinum elite ambassador status. It is now February and my status is still showing platinum elite NOT platinum elite with ambassador.
I have contacted numerous people at Marriot; spg lurker, ambassador supervisors, the works and they have all said, it should be posted soon but it is now February and when i request my 24 checkouts, etc. I have to explain each time to the rep at checkin that my status should reflect ambassador.
Curious if i am alone here or there are others that are waiting for their status to change after qualifying for ambassador under spg legacy program.

On the contrary, I am still showing having an Ambassador (through Jan 2020) even though I was far short of $20K spend, and didn't have 100 Starwood nights. Maybe I should come back from Hyatt then

Same situation here. Having been SPG ambassador before, I don’t expect massive changes in recognition/perks, but primarily looking for the Your24 benefit.
Contacted general Ambassador email ahead of early checkin last weekend, and they offered to do Your24 requests for me even though my Status was still not updated. Unfortunately the response back from the properties, was to deny Your24 request because I’m not ambassador :-(
Asking about the projected processing date for the status updates, I was told January as well, which has obviously slipped by now.

I'd keep your hopes in check for the Your24 benefit...it was already on the decline well before 8/18
Of course, Marriott in its desire for opacity will likely increase "breakage" of the benefit by not letting it be done easily online

it’s not like it’s night and day difference between plat elite but I do enjoy the my 24 that it provides.
Seriously considering moving over to Hilton instead. I have diamond through the Hilton aspire card and never have any issues with points being credited, or anything of the sort. Plus I actually enjoy staying at their doubletree properties.

I satisfied my 100+ nights AND $20,000+ spend requirements before August 18th and I'm STILL having trouble with Ambassador status not showing properly.

My status is still not updated to Ambassador (earned early Dec from 100+ legacy SPG nights). Was hoping that the switch to Bonvoy branding today would fix it, but seems not. Mailed ambassador service 3 days ago about expected timeframe, but no answer.
Anybody else seeing any movement on this ?

I think for L-SPG Ambassador guests they are still have a hard time sorting out status. Mine has always said Ambassador until 2020 even before I earned it last year. I tried going the 100+ SPG by hitting exactly 100 nights. No one from the Ambassador service could verify if I actually hit 100 nights. In fact, it took several emails back and forth where I received various night totals for my L-SPG nights.
Who knows where I landed for the year. No email congratulating me on earning status for 2020 and I haven’t heard from my ambassador since November.
The new app says Platinum Premier with Ambassador Achiever (!?!) but does not say until 2020.

I should have lost my Ambassador, but since it still says I have one, going to try and get one more (likely to get denied) Your24 through
