London Marriott Occupancy
Heading to London with wife/kid in a few months. Finding most Marriotts there only allow two people in their standard rooms, charging an additional 400-700 pounds total on top of points for a slightly bigger room with an occupancy of three for a five night stay. Ethics aside, has anyone successfully managed to stay in a two person room with three people without drawing the ire of hotel management? |
There is availability at rates far less than you are stating, at least for the random date I chose. For instance at the Marble Arch Marriott
https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1bbeb94e0c.jpg Perhaps it's the dates your looking at, the properties you'd like best or maybe you are putting 3 adults in the search instead of 2 adults and 1 child. Or it's a combination of the previous 3. Ethics aside, I think if your kid is a child you're probably ok but if your kid is an adult, not so much. |
We stayed at Maida Vale, 2 kids (11 and 14) and 2 adults. I reserved the room with just 2 adults, no one said anything.

Most people and most hotels would consider age 14 to be an adult for this purpose. |
