Reservations open starting July 8. I have res for mid July. Hope it opens on time. I will report on my stay but probably not until August as I will be on long cruise departing Rotterdam.

Good opening rates starting 85e.

Hotel now showing first day to purchase reservations is August 1, which seems to me they have changed opening day until Aug 1, no? I have reservation for mid July. Should I call Marriott or how should I handle this?. Obviously, I don't want to arrive at hotel on reservation day and find it locked and myself homeless. Rotterdam extremely booked up that time period due to cruises leaving/arriving and general tourism. Thanks.

I also have a reservation from 20 July for 5 nights. My Ambassador has liaised with the hotel three times in the last 10 days. The reservation's coordinator has assured her they will be open second week of July. I brought up the fact that they are no longer selling rooms until early August, but the hotel said that's a Marriott rule and they needed a one month buffer period between soft opening and officially selling rooms. The reasoning didn't make much sense but my Ambassador has assured me the hotel will be open. Hope that helps.

Thanks. I'll call Marriott customer service and double check my dates which are earlier than yours.

Just did the MainPort, looking forward to even more options in Rotterdam. Kudos to Sharon for creating this thread... it's putting this new (to me) hotel on my radar.

Per email from hotel today, they intend to open on July 8th, 2019.

UPDATE: today July 4 I received email that they will not be open for my reservation July 10 and they have rebooked me at the same rate in a different Rotterdam Marriott property. They now expect to open in August, exact date not yet determined.
