Current Status of the Grandfathering Sweep to Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite / Lifetime Titanium Elite
As of 1/26 Members are reporting a SWEEP HAS OCCURRED LTPPE/LTitaniumE. Some have reported discrepancies between app and website still.
A sweep has also occurred of LTP qualifying from previous LTG on legacy rules.
Request: Please DO NOT post asking if the above has occurred or advising all of us that nothing has changed. Please continue reading this wiki for updates.
If you have legitimately been swept and your website account shows that you have truly been grandfathered to Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite, then yes please do add a post with this information with useful details for others and this wiki will then be updated accordingly with your information.

I would not be surprised if Marriott had 150/200 ambassadors, so that gives a rough estimate of some 30,000 PPE+A members.

I am 760 nights / 10 years LTP as per my current profile. But if I go thru this link (from the insiders site). It show I am a LTPP.

Had they written "Lifetime Platinum Premier Elite" it would have been less confusing.

This appears to only work for those that are over 50 nights this year. I have the >750 LT nights, I have the >2M MR points (not needed), I have the >10 Plat years, but that link just says Sorry Not Eligible, of course for making a choice, since I have 0 YTD nights.

I am a pre-merger legacy Lifetime Platinum that never got their lifetime status updated. When everything shakes out I will be Lifetime Titanium, which I should have been since August 18 of last year.

I have no nights this year and it works for me. It too tells me Sorry Not Eligible, but when I click on my name in the upper right corner I do see myself as "Platinum Premier Lifetime Elite" whereas on the regular Marriott site when I click on my name it only shows me as "Platinum Premier Elite".
I am a pre-merger legacy Lifetime Platinum that never got their lifetime status updated. When everything shakes out I will be Lifetime Titanium, which I should have been since August 18 of last year.

which pretty reliably gets many people into E+ seats at 24 hours out for free, though that might depend on routes and flight time of course..
Of course, if you already have higher United status (or would never fly United no matter what), that would not be a benefit for you.

I was swept last night as well. 892 nights 15 years. Zero nights thus far this year and nothing booked either. I’m checking on the iPad app.
