- If you maintain the same Elite level that you started the year with, your Qualifying Year of Elite status will be applied to your Account in January of the following year. Due to status extensions, the Member received their 2021 year of tenure in November 2021 when they their status was extended to February 2023.
- A Member achieved Platinum Elite in 2020 and enjoyed the status in 2021. They received their 2021 year of Platinum status in November 2021 when they their status was extended to February 2023.
- A Gold Elite Member achieved Platinum Elite in April 2021; the Platinum year of Elite status for 2021 was applied upon achievement (in April 2021).

What are examples of lifetime gold years that are not lifetime platinum years?
i have two more lifetime gold years that are not platinum.
the first one I believe to be my first year as a starwood member , I qualified for gold but did not make platinum, I understand why that one should not count. Since I made platinum every years since then at starwood, it stands to reason that the other gold but not platinum year would have been through Marriott, I am trying to figure out what it could be from (and if it should be platinum).
note that I never had Marriott status through an airline status match or benefit.
any help would be appreciated , for some reason our friends and loyalty partners at corporate consider helping loyalty members to be a questionable way to do business , it is proprietary in their words, I am not sure why (maybe members are overly entitled or just a nuisance around the edges )

Has anyone else's Lifetime Status disappeared from their Overview page on the Marriott Website? My current status level is showing (and accurate), however the section further down on the Overview page that previously displayed lifetime status no longer shows anything. When I click on my nights details on the activity page it still displays the accurate number of lifetime nights, but no information of total years or lifetime status.
I'm sure there are plenty of modifications taking place prior to the launch of Bonvoy, but I'd like to see if others are seeing the same thing or not. Thanks!

There was a brief time over the weekend where my years counter had zeroed out in the mobile app, but as of today everything is exactly back to where it was the day I combined accounts (back in Aug '18).

Spoke with a guest experience supervisor from Marriott Senior Elite Services yesterday. She said the sweep was done on Monday, but some accounts will not see an increment in year counter until next Fri, Feb 8th. My app is currently showing 780 nights and 9 years, and the supervisor said I should see 10 years after next week, which qualifies me for LTPP.

My own personal view is that it still wouldn't be of any significant consequence if some or all members see a bump for their 2018 activity - until that LT notification is in hand either via e-mail or snail mail, you're not necessarily looking at your final tally. And any LT status reflected in the app or on the web is a placeholder that's subject to change in one direction or the other because it's based on a number that remains subject to change.
Edit: According to a post in the 2/13 Bonvoy thread (I would link it but FT is very difficult to navigate with my tablet), there will in fact be no communication, per se. If you see LTTE when logged into your account, you have been “notified.”

I became LT Gold with the system merge back in August, and the website now shows me as LT Plat -- even though I'm still about 5 nights away from 600. I've never received a communication for either.

There was also the FT rumor that everything would be completed as of this weekend and today would mark the point at which folks need to start ringing Marriott's phones off the hook if they didn't see a change. I think the important thing to understand is that these rumors are strictly for entertainment purposes - mainly for the entertainment of the people making such claims (or there sure are a lot of senior Marriott execs who take phone calls from the public and leak unsubstantiated and ultimately incorrect information!).

My reason for asking is simply that I haven't received a year of lifetime credit for status earned in 2018, and as far as I can tell from data points gathered, it doesn't sound like most others have either. As long as that remains the case I'm content to sit and wait for Marriott to get their act together ... I'm just scanning for any data points because if many people do start getting credit and I don't, that may suggest I need to start chasing down Marriott.

Yes, this should normally be expected (although given the current state of affairs, who knows?). This is particularly true in the case of those looking for confirmation of LTPP/LTT, as Marriott's communications over the past several months have consistently referenced a notification that members would receive. To date I'm aware of no such notifications having been reported here or elsewhere.

This was the situation for me as well, I was LTP, then the 'sweep' occurred and my Lifetime status showed as LTPP, but as of today, there is zero lifetime designation, no infinity logo, nothing at all to identify my Lifetime Status on the full website. I haven't checked the Mobile Site/App yet to see if there is any difference. Again, I'm sure there are a LOT of behind the scene changes taking place in preparation for the transition, but I want to make sure that the lifetime status that I believe I have attained/earned/achieved will actually be reflected correctly post 13 February.

Lifetime Titanium Elite
Now I'm LT Titanium Elite. Woohoo? Now what can we expect? Is this the elite level where membership is capped, limited to only those who attained LT Platinum Premier by 12/31/18?

You can expect (or at least hope to get) what is listed on the website under Titanium Level benefits!
Lifetime....yes! Regular Titanium can be achieved yearly.
