My stay in Boston July 4-6 posted only on July 14 (but still with double points!). The time delay with posting stays/points is ridiculous. My stay in Malaysia in May posted with 10 delay with the correct points by a wrong hotel name (Westin Xi'an) which is in China.

Looks like they got unstuck. Posts came through yesterday. There is a problem with both my stacked paid and points stay not posting which I kind of expected but everything else is good.

4 of my 6 stays have posted as of today. Seems to be churning now as my point balance keeps changing but activity has not posted yet, so I expect more will hit soon.

No response from letter to Marriott?

After getting a less than helpful reply for a missing stay request I sent a letter to Marriott Customer Service in April asking for a second review. It’s now been two months and no reply. I was at least expecting some form letter reply. Is this usual? How long does it normally take them for a reply?

By email? A couple of days. By letter? Expect about 50-100 years.

Best response time (and success rate) is via Lurker mail.

I disagree. Best response time is to pick up the phone and call Customer Service number on the back of your card, and points will be in your account in 5 mins.

OP ... is there something more to your story? Normally, it's pretty rare for me to have a missing stay but historically I just upload my bill to the website and get credit for it. I've never had a reply and it's pretty simple.

we can all give much better advice if you tell us the whole story :-)

I'd be surprised if Marriott would reply to written letters......

Good point, I should see what you all think. I booked a leisure discount program rate promoted through my employer but my missing points request was denied because they said it wasn’t a qualifying rate. I don’t see anything in the Bonvoy T&Cs, the rate rules, or the program website T&Cs about it not qualifying. What irks me is I bought up from a deeper discount on a third party site so that I could qualify for points and a MegaBonus promo. The rate was also only $10 cheaper than AAA which does get points. I asked in a letter for a second review because some customer service companies actually take letters more seriously than the flood of emails they get.
