Your best bet is probably to contact one of the Lurkers here. They will either get you the points you are owed or explain why you got what you did. Personally, I’m not a fan of the Missing Points CS team. They really seem clued out sometimes. They often post missing points while making more errors, and THEY WORK FOR MARRIOTT!

I just had one tell me that my bonus pts and elite nights from Q1 promo can take an additional 7 days to post after my regular pts and elite night which I had to wait 10 days to request. Yet the last time they failed to post my stay, everything posted at once after I submitted a missing stay request.

I always used to ask the hotel I stayed at to post my correct points. Now they are telling me to do it myself. One, Leicester Marriott UK misses every stay. I have three outstanding. One goes back to December 2022. Asked them bang on the 10 days after stay and they said it was too early but did the other two. Now I still have that one plus two more. Then Durham Delta gave me 238 points for spending £172 (I am Titanium). Think they should be fined 5,000 points for every missed or incorrectly applied stay.

I have a friend who I convinced to pursue Plat status. She signed up for the US Amex biz card a couple of months ago and is still fighting to get her 15 elite nights that never posted to her account. She also just did 2 mattress runs during the double elite nights promo. Of course, NEITHER stay posted to her account. She doesn't have time to check if points or stays are posting correctly.

She isn't a happy Marriott customer. I had to explain to her that she isn't a Marriott customer, she's just a product that Marriott supplies to their real customers, the hotel owners.

BTW, I submitted a missing stay request 2 days ago, and I was surprised to see that the website is now allowing us to submit 10 days after checkout instead of the 11 days they were previously using.

Try this email [email protected]

Or have a look at post #52 here if you want to send a PM.

Marriott Bonvoy Lurker(s) - How to Contact (Combined Threads)

Problem is there are 3-4 of them here on FT. If you wait until Monday, one will surely reach out to you.

And please let us know the outcome. Good luck!

I would usually agree with the consensus that if a stay hasn't posted after 2-3 days, it is going to need a manual intervention. But I have just had a stay post on day 9. And so newly converted, I now say Keep The Faith

I’m missing points from AMEX -> Bonvoy. AMEX said they transferred out the points and Bonvoy customer service said they saw AMEX transferred the points but they need 12weeks to manually add the points. Is there any way to expedite the process? Thanks

Are there instances where the elite nights post fairly quickly?
If I hit my last elite night for the next tier, how likely would I be able to get it if I was staying somewhere else a couple days later?

Update: wrote an email to one of the lurkers and she couldn’t expedite the 12 week process. It’s because during that statement cycle I didn’t have any regular spending points and that hit a Bonvoy’s system bug

Had a stay not post, so I submitted a missing stay request 11 days after I checked out. Usually that does the trick, but got an email back from Marriott saying they are happpy to help, and that I should respond to the email if the stay does not post automatically after 10 days?! Kind of doubly irritating that first the stay doesn’t post and then the missing stay request doesn’t fix it. The decline in Marriott Customer service coupled with disappearing lounges and other elite benefits mean I have reduced my annual nights at Marriott properties in half.

Just learned the hard way that I was ineligible for points on a 2nd room because the check-in and check-out dates were different. Apparently it's a new Marriott policy. Got Bonvoyed good!

Actually, we were warned about this. See post #111. New policy was implemented Aug 30.
