missing stays/points

I stayed at the TownPlace Suites Outer Banks Kill Devil Hills. We stayed six days but we keep extending our stay. So we had three reservations of two days each. It was a great stay and hotel. My problem is the elite credit and points only posted for the last two days, Dec 6-8.

These are/will be the last four days to met the Platinum challenge. I am literally short these stays for my Platinum status...although I have done one more since at a Courtyard, which posted on day two after the stay.

I am a Hilton Diamond. I never have to run down points and stays with Hilton. It's like Marriott DOES NOT want me to stay with their loyalty program. It is not the first time with them that I am running down folios, emails, phone calls to various sub entities of Marriott. We are going to Thailand/Asia for December/January and I guess I will be using Hilton/AIRBNB instead of Marriott.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE RUNNING DOWN DAYS/POINTS!!!!!

eeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

This is a normal problem with Marriott. Consecutive stays at same property will give you points for all the nights but the stay credit for only the last reservation. Call CS and theyll fix it while youre on the phone.

I have had a paid stay at le meridien Marrakesh on an eligible rate.Nights posted along with a generous 1084 points for a spend of over $800. Had emailed customer services twice but no reply. Contacted head office who said they would request the hotel resend my folio ( unfortunately I stupidly didn’t keep it) naturally no reply a week later. I just don’t have the time to waste chasing this hotel ( one of the worst Marriott hotels I ever stayed at). I know Marriott have downgraded point earning but this is ridiculous. Marriott should really kick this hotel out of the program

Was your folio in USD or MAD? I suspect an exchange rate issue. My stay at St Regis Maldives was billed in USD yet points were posted as if my folio was in MVR. Took me five tries to correct.

BTW, the opposite, IDR folio credited as USD, happens as well.
Millions of points, out of the blue.

It was in MAD. Have requested folio 3 times and not even a reply! the conversion rate could not be that wrong. Those points add up to a few cents. Of course I may not have the right email as Marriott have removed any way of contacting their hotels. To make matters worse I cannot even call Marriott head office uk as phone numbers are wrong. There are too many numbers and have tried all configurations. Too much time and effort to correct

I missed my welcome bonus and compensation for the lounge being closed.

I used the missing stay to request compensation and the compensation was added, but someone zeroed out my stay credit and deducted my hotel spend for the stay.

Furthermore, the Missing Stay Request button is whited out on my computer. (OSX Safari and Chrome). Any ideas how I can have this addressed?

Marriott would need to reimburse me 100€ = ~$110. What is the amount of MR points that would equal to this value which I could ask for? I was thinking 20k.. Does that sound right or I'm I way of?

Airlines have figured out how to credit your miles the minute you board the plane. I find it amazing that Marriott cannot credit your stay once you check out. IT-wise this is not a hard thing to do..

Now that Marriott complicates things with promos that "unlock" only after your stay completes, I am faced with a situation where my last two stays have not credited. Therefore, I will be shortchanged by this stupid promo. Marriott marketing guys dream up a promo that Marriott's systems cannot even implement properly.

Second time this month that stays aren't being posted within a week of the stay.

I know they say it takes up to 10 business days but this is absurd, given that they're running a promotion that required your stays to be posted.

That sums it up.

Due to a delay in posting a one-night stay (took just ten days), my Q4 promotion was unlocked precisely after I have completed three more stays which did not count towards the unlocked Q4 offer.

I will never ever book another cash night with Marriott unless I have no other choice.

It's 2020. And MR's accuracy regarding points/stays has not really improved since the merger.

Just a few data points:
- My status year tracker has been frozen since 2018; it should be +2 by now but alas.
- The "nights to Titanium" counter fluctuates like the old Microsoft file copy time function - widely swinging and for the most part never making mathematical sense anyway.
- Rather bothersome is that 4 out of the last 5 stays did not post (both Marriott and SPG legacies). One property posted after a reminder call. Two posted after filling an online request. One is subject to a bit of debate - after the hotel failed to post a 8 night stay, the MR online request resulted in a fraction of the eligible spend being posted. The hotel (a Westin) told me that they could not care less and that I should try my luck with MR (the hotel operates a stand alone website for points inquiries which is a bit of a give away I suppose).

My most recent stay with a spend of $ 3,000+ has not posted after 9 days so the fun begins anew.

As others have experienced, I have yet to experience a situation where I am being given more points than earned. it's always been fewer points, nights, etc. Not trying to get into a MR vs. SPG argument, but I have spent substantially more time on trouble shooting issues in my MR account in 2019 than in 19 years of SPG membership. Hyatt starts to look really good...

missing points from stay

I have stayed 2 nights in W Punta Mita and the nights have posted correctly. However I have spent a substantial amount at the property (mainly restaurants) and I only got 700 points (including Tit bonus). according to my calculation I should get more than10 times more...
How do I claim the missing points? (via missing stay on the website? But the stay itself is not missing)

Also the property deducted 2 SNAs, but the upgrade has not been provided (they have told me it was a glitch from Marriott and not their mistake). It was for NYE and I understand that I won't get the SNAs in my account because the year is over, but it is not fair that Marriott pays the property for those SNAs which have not been honored. To whom / how should I reach out for this point?

I feel that this hotel doesn't want to play along Marriott rules... even though the staff there was really nice and the property beautiful.

Stays not posting? Is this a january 1 thing? or Marriott IT?...

I have had a few stays not post recently.

One was the 31-2 of january in las vegas (westin).

The other was 3-7 of january at the Atlantis (What a DUMP!)

Stays had normally been posting within a few days. But for some reason these stays are lost. I know it was an issue a while ago, but I thought that was pretty well fixed. Is Marriott IT enhancing away my stays? Or is this normal behavior when the year rolls over?
