how to link new SPG# to my existing SPG AMEX?
Is there something I need to do on either side of the equation to be sure that any purchases with my SPG AMEX are put into the SPG account with the new account#? I looked around, but found no info on that. I may have been blind and didn't see it, though...

AMEX updated my SPG number to the new one automatically. Then when I combined into my existing Marriott account, it automatically updated to that number.

Yes. There is an unrelated known issue with regard to the SPG UK AMEX card and having usage points applied to those members' accounts. That is being worked on by both companies, but I do not have a time-frame to reference when it comes to a fix.

Same here, UK Amex points have not appeared from my August and September statements. Pretty frustrating seems like it's been going on forever.

Japan Amex and only got posted a third of the points that should have posted. Do I take this up with Amex?
