Lucerne, Switzerland Hotels

I'm currently looking at booking a stay for a few nights in Lucerne next summer and am having a hard time deciding between the two Marriott properties there. Does anyone have any feedback on which hotel they prefer and why? The two in question are...

Renaissance Lucerne Hotel - https://www.marriott.com/hotels/trav...lucerne-hotel/

The Hotel Lucerne (Autograph Collection) - https://www.marriott.com/hotels/trav...ph-collection/

Both are Category 5's which makes this decision more difficult due to being the same price.

I can recommend the Renaissance Lucerne Hotel. I have stayed there many times and have always had a great stay.

These two hotels are very close to each other.
I stayed at The Hotel Lucerne (Autograph Collection) for 7 days this summer. Loved it. The room is very spacious, around 500 SQFT? There is a little park right down stairs and a couple of good restaurant choices. The day light goes away after 9pm. So spending some time walking or sitting in the park is very relaxing.

+1. Stayed there in July, we very much enjoyed this hotel, and the city was great too. Have dinner here.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Lucerne, It's a super boutique (by Marriott standards) - it's only got a few dozen rooms.

With that said, just as a word of warning if you're traveling with kids.. there's basically porn on the ceilings of some of the rooms.

Thanks for all of the feedback, I decided to lock-in the Hotel Lucerne for now mainly based on its uniqueness. Thanks again!

Had a good 3 night stay at The Hotel last June. Penthouse Suite points plus cash. Parking is a bit tricky but front desk staff handled it and it only ended up costing 15chf/night.
