Received my Sep points for the first time in 3 month, left Amex SPG yesterday and appeared on my SPG account today. Seems the link working again although my Jul and Aug points are still missing.

Maybe something is moving and we’ll see all points appearing soon!

American Express say it is Marriott at fault and they had been told by Marriott things would be restored by 14th September but they were not but as it's not an American Express issue they are not responsible.

I have asked for both responses in writing and then as American Express is the card issuer and the complaint official I can then escalate this to the financial ombudsman here in the UK.

Overall not impressed with either, they are acting like children, it's not my fault it's there's. Absolutely no one taking control of the situation or showing any consideration to customers.
I raised a formal complaint last Friday with Amex as no one from Amex is taking ownership or being realistic about the issue.

I'm also having huge issues getting my SPG gold from the Amex platinum.

They’re investigating the 4 issues I raised but to see if protocol wasn’t followed not to fix my particular issue.

Someone has reported on Twitter that they have just received all points from the last 3 months.

Nothing here either.

Amex Customer Service chat are still saying "2-4 weeks" for fix. I've raised a complaint but by the sounds of it that doesn't help with anything.

How long have you had the card for? Is that one month's worth?

Anyone else received any?

I have nothing still

We would like to thank everyone for their patience while we worked with American Express UK to sort this issue out. Both companies have made some progress towards a resolution, but it may still take a week or more for all of your accounts to be fully caught up.

Thanks for the update, but patience has already worn very thin. As I've said in a previous post, I'm due a very large amount of points due to huge spend during a double points offer.

Not receiving these points has wrecked my travel plans, and I'm sure many other people's.

Will there be some compensation given or will Marriott just be taking us all for granted as they seem to now?

I have to say I agree with all this and the fact that Marriott have been so silent on the issue until it seems they feel it is resolved, but there is still no actual real apology simply that there was an issue and both companies have been working to resolve it!

I do appreciate the update from the Lurkers as always but I know what would happen if I paid my SPG Amex 3 months late!

Card for a year and yes this is one month's - the last, which was all I was expecting.

I have just received my points and they were two months overdue. I called Amex to ask for the reference number and sent it to [email protected]

My understanding is that Amex made the transfer during the transition so the points could not link to the new combined program.

Hey, so you called Amex, got a reference number for the transfers, then sent that reference to [email protected] and then your points were credited?

How long did it take from sending the email to receiving the points?
