The good news: Elite nights from 3K spend are still posting in 2019

The hopefully good news: Per TPG this morning the terms on the old legacy Marriott Card will not change when it rebrands to Bonvoy

I checked my upgrade offer the other day, and the page expressly states you will lose the $3k elite night if you upgrade to the new card. Which to me is an acknowledgment the benefit will survive so long as you keep the legacy card.

Offer was terrible, btw ($200 statement credit for $3k spend).

This is as good a place as any to ask a related question of mine though: I received my 15 nights on December 25th as my anniversary. If I upgrade between now and then do I get fifteen nights right away with the new card, or is it after the one-year (new card) anniversary?

Beginning in 2019, the 15 nights will all post at once in the beginning of the year instead of your anniversary date. It’s similar to how they did it at SPG in the past.

so does that mean after Feb 13?

I remember reading that, but expected it to post by now if that was the case.

The 15 Elite Night Credit will be deposited into member Loyalty accounts on or before March 1 of 2019.

I didn’t really pay attention last year because I knew I would exceed 100 nights, but this year I am counting on the extra Elite nights to make Ambassador.

My nights have not been matching my statement spend and Customer Service could not explain why. I finally contacted the Chase Twitter team and they told me today the spend is by calendar month, not statement.

Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks!

Are others seeing a delay on these posting? Chase says they sent over to Marriott 5 days ago.
