I've learned in the Marriott world that you need to resolve issues with the property while at the property and/or get any agreement in writing. Had an issue with the dreadful Fort Lauderdale Westin Beach Resort and the front desk manager lied to my face about how he would resolve it. I did get resolution from Marriott corporate but it took two weeks of phone calls until I randomly connected with a person who could resolve it. This was pure luck. The lurkers provided zero help. SPG customer service is long gone.

Has there been an update to this in the past couple years? I sent a "Contact Us" form email to Marriott over a week ago, and still have not heard back. Need to take advantage of the Bonvoy Champion. It has to do with incorrect billing from a recent stay, and the hotel has not been helpful, even after visiting in person.
