Old SPG Credit Card Stay/Nights Credit

It looks like my stay and nights credit from my SPG business and personal credit card for 2 stays and 5 nights each are no longer being accounted for. Has this happened to anyone else?

Our apologies for the inconvenience, but this is a known issue and a ticket has been opened with the IT team, so we expect it to be resolved soon.

Known to some...

Not having seen this thread, I just spent time talking with an AmEx rep who had no knowledge of the two stays, five nights credit benefit. I was told that this would be entirely the responsibility of SPG, and I would need to speak with them. After a long hold, I was actually connected to an "SPG" representative, who also had no knowledge of this benefit. I was finally told (after some research on the part of the representative) that this was awarded on the annual renewal date of the card, but ended in July. I pointed out that my card renewed in June, and I was told that I would need to talk with AmEx. I can only hope that I receive this, as I lack the patience to ever call again.

My SPG AMEX nights just reappeared in my account this afternoon. So I have credit for both that card and the Marriott card.

Separately, my lifetime night total is now also correct (having increased by several dozen nights post-merger, it has gone back down and seems about right).

Don't see them yet. Hopefully they will show up soon.

Edited: Showing on the website now. Yipee! Don't know why the mobile apps are not showing the correct nights as they must pull from somewhere else.

I see my five nights showing up in my credit card night totals, as well. What I do not see is the 8/23 activity for my SPG AmEx spend, although the 7/23 activity does appear. I hope this gets resolved, at some point.

the nights from my business and personal credit card finally posted to my account last week....i had a question on how these nights would work regarding re-qualification for ambassador service....if i understand correctly, if one completes 100 nights at legacy spg properties this year then they would have ambassador service for 2019, even if they do not meet the $20k spend requirement....would these credit card nights count towards those 100 nights as they did in the past????for example, if i had 10 nights from the credit cards & 90 nights at legacy spg properties then would that get me ambassador service for 2019????

Yes, these credit card nights will count towards the 100 nights.

Are the credit card nights supposed to go towards Lifetime Status nights?

I'm asking because after the merger my account showed the 5 credit card nights as Paid nights and my Lifetime Status nights showed 133. However, now the 5 nights are correctly recorded under the Bonus/Rewards Credit Card Nights but my Lifetime Status has been decreased by 5 and currently shows 128.

Is this correct, or is it the result of the above mentioned IT glitch?
