They gave me a new account number for SPG. Also, it says "Coming Soon" to be able to combine accounts. I'm curious if I combine accounts, does that impact the ability to still use stays to qualify in 2018 from SPG?

After checking with some coworkers:
  • We are all missing our AMEX card nights
  • We are all missing recent stay credits
  • We are all missing SPG lifetime status achieved this year

they have always said that the requirement would be in place for marriot members. only spg members get to qualify for next year and next year alone without the minimum spend, provided you qualify ONLY under the requirements for the service with SPG, ie only with 100 nights at SPG, not combined between marriot and spg. this was explicitly stated.

All my Starpoints have gone.

All my Starwood nights have gone.

I was Marriott Platinum and was fully under the impression I would become a Planimum Premier. But I've been given normal Platinum elite.

I thought this whole process was going to be sorted at the weekend? How long is this mess going to last?

On 8/18, we began the process of updating our systems to launch our new loyalty program. Currently, we are working to solve a few known account issues impacting some members. Please visit status.marriott.com for the latest updates.

Thanks, but it just says work is progressing. It would be useful for eg to update folk on a) why points and stays are wrong (and what to do about it) b) when you can merge as seems non- active now and c) when status corrected. Given this is taking longer than expected more granular info would be useful so people know that their issue is generic and they don’t need to try and seek help...

Me too...I had about 32K. Now all I see is the 2K I had in my Marriott account. Has anyone had their SPG points successful merged over to Marriott?

Yes! Also, I’ve combined both of my accounts and now there is only one profile with the correct points value.

I am missing all my SPG points (and activity) after July 17. I did combine my accounts but prior to doing so, there was a delta in the points I should have with the combined points that I currently see.

So after logging in with my SPG details I have all my points, but my last couple of stays in August don't show in my activity so my total nights is lower than it should. Points look right though. Can also log in separately to with my Marriott details and have those stays and points are missing last two weeks of stays. When I go to the combine page it still just says coming soon. I know you can force the URL but I don't want to combine accounts until all my nights are accounted for.

My SPG account still showing 0 points, even though it shows all details in the Activity tab. It is showing my nights this year though.

What a terrible IT failure. Seriously, did you guys take pointers from the UA-CO merger?

For you guys missing points (some, most, or all), have you checked the respective apps?
